Welcome to the Web site of Dr. Stacey Nye. Dr. Nye

specializes in the field of eating disorders, body image,women’s

 issues, depression and anxiety.  She treats adults and adolescents using

 individual and group  psychotherapy.  She  is able to successfully combine

insight-oriented, feminist, experiential and cognitive  behavioral psychotherapy

to both treat symptoms and understand their origins.

Dr. Nye earned her doctorate degree at Northwestern University Medical School. She completed a two-year internship at Cornell Medical Center/New York City.
 

Dr. Nye was awarded Founding Fellow with the Academy for Eating Disorders, an international, multidisciplinary, professional organization focusing on Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and related disorders.

 

Dr. Nye recently joined the medical staff of Rogers Memorial Hospital in Oconomowoc, WI.  Her position as Eating Disorders Staff and Program Development Specialist entails developing and implementing a training program for the eating disorder clinical staff. She is also a faculty instructor at the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology where she has taught graduate level courses on the treatment of eating disorders and existential psychotherapy.

 

She has written articles, book chapters, spoken at professional and community lectures, appeared on television and has nearly 20 years of clinical experience in the field.

 

Dr. Nye has offices in Mequon and Elm Grove, WI.
